One of the few signs of (night) life in the business district.. The Scene Impressive floor-to-ceiling stacks of liquor form a very striking background for this popular contemporary bar and lounge on the first floor of the IBM building. The bartenders scramble up and down rolling library ladders to retrieve bottles (many of which contain exotic single-malt scotches), putting on quite a show when things get busy.
The Fare Unfortunately, their abilities don't extend to knowing about the many interesting drinks here, including the beer list, whose sensible serving criteria by beer maven Michael Jackson goes largely ignored. This seems a waste of concept and inventory; although it doesn't seem to bother the hormone-driven MBA set that sips here while waiting to make a love connection. The restaurant does, however, have fresh salmon flown in daily from both coasts, which makes the Palm-laden lounge area somewhat more alluring.
