Bad Customer Service. I went to grab a slice of pizza after work Joe's Pizza and the guy that took my order was laughing with the girl at cashier right at my face. They were also very rude and speaking spanish. I was tired from work and this service...very disappointed and offended in the same time. I almost wanted to leave the pizza and take off. Pizza itself was just Ok.

Best pizza in the city!!!. This is the best pizza in teh city. Great toppings and sauce. Perfect crust.

You must eat it there to for the crust to stay its perfect level of crunchyness.

Blah. I read some good reviews of this place, and decided to stop in, but left highly disappointed. The first problem is that the counter where you order is right in front of the door. When a crowd forms, it's impossible to get in or out. There is no set line, so everyone just stands around waiting for someone to ask them what they want, and that takes a while. A complete lack of organization. Pizza was bland. Nothing special. The only reason to go here is because there isn't anywhere else in the immediate area to grab a quick slice.

Mediocre at Best. The pizza at Joe's is below average thick bread (NOT thin crust) pizza house fare. Not at all appealing. They are very rude there, and screw up my order at least 1 out of every 4 times I go there. So I don't go there any more. The food just kind of stinks.

Standing in Line at Joe's Pizza. Where can you find the best pizza in Center City Philly ? Just round the corner at 16th & Market Streets and you'll find the ever-present lines of people outside of Joe's Pizza. Just make sure you know what you want BEFORE you get to the front window. As soon as they can see you, they're gonna want your order. Your slices then go right into the ovens. By the time you reach the cash register, your pizza is piping hot and delicious. It's truly a "no rules" pizza place. They serve dozens of pizza topping combinations at Joe's and anything goes. You could try something new on every visit.

awesome! variety and fast. Joe's pizza has awesome chicken barbeque pizza. During the week, at lunchtime, you'll get served in what seems like less than 5 minutes! Be prepared to order though, b/c the line moves quick!

jsut ok. the pizza isn't anything special. It's just fast and cheap. when you only have an hour for lunch it will have to do. They are mean.

worth the wait. Like Pat's and Gino's (or more accurately Lorenzos) the like is ridiculously long but unlike Pats or Ginos this line is worthwhile.

Forget soup, meet the Pizza Natzis. NO PIZZA FOR YOU! These guys aren't exactly winning any "BEST OF" categories for charm. Talk fast and tell 'em watchu wan or they'll move on to the next sucker who has also become addicted to the tangy BBQ chicken pizza. I once asked for Turkey and mashed potatoes just to see what they'd do. Wasn't pretty. I think I've been black listed. On the plus side, they have an unbelievable variety of pies and they do deliver to your office. Thin crisp crust is tasty and Ive found theres no blotting necessary. (I just hate that, dont you?) They have my vote for best cheapie lunch in CC. If youre a chick, bat those lashesyou just might get some extra toppings for free. Seating area over looks street. Stand in lineit moves faster than you can say "Hey, you talkin to me?"
