What People Are Saying About Joe's Pizza

In Short – By noon, the line to order has spilled out onto the sidewalk and, ironically, past the LA Weight Loss Center. But Joe's office-working patrons don't mind the wait: It gives them time to decide if they want their slice topped with barbecue chicken or with ravioli. They have subs. They have iceberg lettuce-based salads. They have fries. But everyone comes for the slabs of thin-crust pizza, which make a fast meal at about $3 each.
Editor's Tips
- Save Time:
- The guys manning the oven give priority to orders for delivery, so don't fear calling up during the rush. The pizza will get to you in a half hour.
Good Pizza but the help is scuSTImata.

Very good pizza but don't ask for any service just order and move, if you are willing to put up with it just deal. Sono UN pocco ignoranti.
- Pros: Awesome Pizza
- Cons: They are not there to stroke egos. Order and move along.
Great Pizza!!

The pizza here is the best of Center City. I come every week and I love it.
Hot? Yes. But flavor? No.

I am sorry to say, but this pizza was flavorless. I searched for evidence of spices and all i could find were 10 little specks of who knows what on each slice. The sauce also flavorless and they are easy on the cheese. The only thing they have right is the temperature. The unfriendly staff could care less that you're buying their pizza. Sorry Joe, but your pizza's gotta go :(
- Pros: Piping Hot & cheap
- Cons: Lacking flavor & staff personality
Joe's Pizza: Lousy Unprofessional Customer Service!

I don't understand why people like this pizza and put up with abuse to get it. The crust doesn't stay crisp for long, they use cheap inferior greasy cheese and the sauce tastes like it has been sitting around for awhile. What's more puzzling is why anyone would put up with the behavior of the employees in this joint. Wake up, Joe!

Let me first say that I am not in any way affiliated in any professional way with this joint, and I am also not one of those sleezball owners writing this in response to the negative reviews. However, the pizza is seminal and delicious. The plain slices are good, with a doughy yet cooked crust which is delicious. The sauce is decent as well. However, I can understand why this pizza does not fit the penchants of others. Don't like a light and airy crust? Don't like slightly greasy cheese? Take the cheese off and have the tomato pie which is a simple triangular slice of bread with some diced tomatoes seasoned and drizzled with olive oil. Delish, Don't just stick with the plain either even if it does appeal to your descriminating and/or husbandry taste buds. They have sicilian, ravioli, and the list goes on and on. The service is well, unprofessional if not down right rude due to the italian red headed man who takes your order. Thinking of his job as a joke, he tends to offer you the wrong slice, and if you are an attractive lady, he will gaze at you much like a womanizer if he doesn't feel like saying "que bella" (which means how pretty in italian) in a creepy way. Whether you will go through obnoxious service for great pizza, its your choice.
