In Short – Oddly enough, this spot is mostly beige. The bistro's wide and shallow interior surrounds a low marble bar that divides small, round tables. Apropos of the layout, the French-Asian menu is equal parts drink and food. The popular entrees are the daily specials such as the generous omelets, garlicky mussels and soft-shell crab sandwiches with a side of watercress. The signature burger topped with Gruyere and caramelized onions comes with an indulgent side of frites.
Good Meal
by funfoods
I have been really wanting to try this place for some time. I was somewhat skeptical of going after reading some of the reviews. But I had a great burger...we are talking top five in my time. The frites were awesome (though Monk's are slightly better). The lobster spring rolls for the app was phenomenal. The service was alittle slow, the place was very loud and I don't know if the air conditioner is broke but inside it was very chaud. But this place is going for the food.
- Pros: Fries Burger Location
- Cons: Loud, small, hot (temperature speaking)
Sub Par Meal at a 4 star price
by joykoy
To be honest I was completely let down by the food. It is ok at best and for a place that charges $16 for a hamburger which they are supposedly famous for. You can get a better burger at a local pub. The presentation was ok and amount was small.
On the upside the service was great and the atmosphere is awesome. If you want good service and great ambiance for your sub par but over priced meal then this place is for you. As for me, I know there are a lot better restaurants that charge a more reasonable price with ample amount of food with great service.
My overall review of this place?..not worth it?can get a better burger at Jonny Rockets.
- Pros: Ambience and Service
- Cons: Food...but isn't this the real reason why we dine out? For Food?
Romantic dinner

I love Rouge. Of course, my opinion could be biased because this was my first date with my boyfriend (one which he recreated for Valentine's Day). I have had exceptional food and wonderful service here. Yes it's loud (but really it makes it more intimate to get closer to your date or friends) but I think they have improved that over time. The food has always been good (ok the creme brulee was a little watery but the top was perfection and it was a busy Valentine's day weekend. Rouge always evokes this old Hollywood glamor type feel for me. I expect Humphrey Boghart to sit down next to me. Always a great time! This places will always hold some of my favorite memories.
- Pros: our food has always been wonderful, romantic ambience
- Cons: can be loud but has improved since my first visit there
