slifer is great!!!!!!!!!!. Slifer is great. Mr. Slifer is a determined man who never gives up at finding a problem. The staff is fantastic. They are all part of the family. The work done on my car is always A++ My car is always fixed properly instead of the cheaper ways that previous mechanic did. Mr. Slifer goes above and beyond to diagnose, and properly fix my car and he will do the same to you

I am very happy with Slifer.

In regards to the comments below.... Starting July 5, 2010, an individual who wasted our precious time with nonsense phone calls (13 times in one day) began posting false stories and comments on this and other websites under many different fake aliases. This person has been recognized by our shop and other local shops as someone who is a difficult customer and impossible to be please. Two days prior to July 5th, this individual was asked to take their business elsewhere because of these reasons.

Slifer Motor Works is a 20 year old family owned business that is known by its 1700+ loyal clients for its integrity, knowledge, high quality work, friendly nature and personable staff. It is value, not price, that we use as our business philosophy. It is this reason we service an array of high-end cars, do 100 point restorations of all types of vintage cars, and do insurance collision work on all of our client-based cars. Our service staff, with its 140 combined years of experience, has been praised locally ever since its inception.

Citysearch has been notified of this problem and has refused to control irate posters such as this individual. It is hard to believe that a supposedly legitimate website such as this one cannot control its own content (makes them illegitimate and have zero credibility). All negative posts on this site are untrue and written by the same person during the same time frame. None of the names or cars listed are found in our database. Until Citysearch chooses to resolve this issue, we will continue to post this after every negative comment. Thank you.

What a disgrace!. I payed to get my window replaced and they installed it but it leaked and they never fixed the problem, they always give me the run around. I just decided to call someone else and get it done right.‎ Don't go there.

Their service is pure Horror. One of the worst shops in town -- especially for high performance vehicles! Although the shop owner may have a 'little' experience, the people that work for him and actually do the work know nothing about cars!‎ Horror!

Very dissatisfied!. I can't believe that anyone would be satisfied with them. I was VERY DISSATISFIED. I would NEVER let them service my car again. They don't have the knowledge neither the tools to do any job right. They are dishonest and very expensive.

These guys are simply the best.... I can't believe all the bull**** that I read on here. I've been a VERY SATISFIED customer for years. I have 8 high end cars. These guys are the only ones I would ever let service them. They have all of the knowledge and the tools to do any job right...the first time. They are extremely honest. They are not the cheapest and do not want to be. They don't deal with bargain shoppers, tire kickers, people wanting price quotes from 10 shops for an oil change, or any of that crap. People continue to go to SMW because they want quality, value and integrity. They don't advertise, and yet have been very successful for 20 years...and they keep growing! They let the quality of their work do the advertising. And if you are into restorations....WOW. There is some talent behind these doors. A true treasure on the mainline.

I would have given them a try BUT..... They NEVER pick up the phone and NEVER respond.

Don't waste your time with Slifers Sniffers.

There are other very reliable shops in area to use. Call D'AVICO AUTO REPAIR. They are great!!!! Excellent service and 100% satisfaction! You won't regret it!

Don't go here‎‎, They Suck!. I have been taking my vehicle to Slifer for 2 years and have spent over 10000 dollars the last two years. After I kept having the same problem with the ac I kept taking it back. Big mistake! After the 4th trip back I found out that they contract their work out to other shops. I was not happy they get another shop to do the work and then they charge you more so they can make a profit off of some other shops work???!!! STAY AWAY FROM Slifer Motor Works!

Dr Bimmer has a mental problem. When is this Bimmer doctor guy going to stop his ranting?? Same name all over the place-anywhere a review can be written. We haven't had an 85 MG in for a couple of years. If the fabricated story was true, why wouldn't you have your car towed to your own mechanic in the first place? Why do other shops call us for help with all their difficults problems that they can't figure out? Because we're the best on the mainline, have all the latest scanners and equipment and true car lovers know it. We fix problems that others can't, and our honesty is well-known. Slink away and get over the rejection.

Highly not recommended. Based on a friend's recommendation I took my audi in.

He had it for 5 days. Never gave me a quote and ordered parts I had not approved.

These guys are NOT detail oriented and miss small and large things such as not tightening my rear shock and not replacing nuts on my air cleaner.

They have an attitude and I will NEVER go back and

CAN NOT recommend them.
