Great Shop ... Great Service. As a newcomer to the Main Line three years ago, I asked my realtor, new friends, neighbors and business colleagues where they purchase unique home furnishings and stationery items. "The Little House Shop" was most often on the top of their lists.

My first visit to the shop proved their recommendations true. As I entered The Little House Shop, I was pleasantly greeted by an employee who guided me thru a broad selection of items that ranged from garden pots thru fine china. The store layout was lovely and easy to shop.

I continue to make The Little House Shop my first destination for gifts or that special something for my home. After three years, I still get the same great service as that first visit. The selection always seems fresh and fun to browse (e.g., a "brown bear" foot stool caught my eye recently - I'll be back to buy it for my dad for the holidays.)

Take a look. I'm sure you'll agree that it's one of the best shops in the area. Oh, and the free, easy parking is just icing on the cake.

Nice merchandise but pretentious employees. The Little House Shop has two halves to the store. One is a stationer with Crane, Vera Bradley, and other nice lines. The other has some fine china, some handbags, some furniture, some decor, etc. The items overall are very lovely (and often shockingly expensive) and the store is pretty to browse in. So why 3 stars? The employees are a nightmare. If you want to feel ignored, unwelcome and like you don't deserve to shop (or even buy) anything in a store, and prefer to have to beg to be waited on, then shop at Little House.
