Pica's has had its loyalists ever since opening its original West Philly location in 1941 and up through its move to Upper Darby in 1956. The homey interior might be passe--ice cream parlor meets grandma's house--but the down-to-earth, straight-shooting service shines. The thick-as-a-book menu is a bible of Italian-American dishes, but the signature dish is its square pizza; the zesty tomato sauce is spread on top of a light layer of mozzarella cheese.

We have eaten at Pica's often and the food and staff is always wonderful. I can not say one thing bad about this place.

Sleek, sophisticated; for a restaurant to truly seduce, it has to have all three ingredients. This and more, with a mouthwatering menu and a prime locale. The seductive decor is warm and inviting (perfect for cozy couples and power execs alike) and great for that "just because" evening, celebrations or anything in between. Signature dishes reflect the simple seasonings of Italy - Capesante, a warm dish of Seared Maine Diver Scallops, Braised Wild Mushrooms and Brown Butter-Truffle Vinaigrette and more.

Pica's has the best pizza ever! I highly recommend the pepperoni and well done crust. If you have not been here for the pizza you must try it. Once you trie Pica's you'll never want any other pizza ever.
