New London Pizza ROBBED me!. At 12:40pm est I ordered 30 wings, cheese fries and a cheesesteak with fried onions and ketchup. At 12:45 pm est I had an emergency and had to step out of the house for 30-40 minutes. At 12:50 pm est my fiancee called New London Pizza in Prospect Park, PA to cancel the order, and the very rude young girl who answers the phone said “OK, we will cancel it” then hangs up the phone.

Now I get home at 1:30 pm est exactly 50 minutes after I placed the order, and there is a surprise on my front step. It’s a Herr’s box with the smell of food coming from it and on the side of the box is the receipt from New London Pizza in Prospect Park, PA!

I was charged $33.00 exactly and still received the food that was supposed to be canceled! I then called back New London Pizza, asked to speak to the manager Mike. I explain the story, he said he will have to go back and check exactly what time I called and what timed my fiancee called to cancel the order.

I then said OK, but make sure you call me back, because on the receipt you wrote my cell phone number down in the wrong order. After I said that, he blew up on me.

He got VERY rude and started yelling saying my fiance did not call back in 10 minutes, she actually called back in 30 minutes to cancel. But then said he never received a call back to cancel, nor heard of anyone cancelling the order from the rude girl who answers the phones.

So as you can see the story with Mike went from calling me back to confirm the cancellation, to all of a sudden no one ever called and proceeded to yell at me. Not very customer friendly, Mike.

I ended up hanging up on him, the food is still sitting in the box and I plan on filing a complaint with my bank because I used a debit card to pay for this food. I guess since I used the debit card, Mike thinks he has the money secured. But with phone records and pictures, he is highly mistaken.

Now I know it’s only $33.00, but it’s basic principle here. I have been going to New London Pizza in Prospect Park, PA for years now, and the one time I call back to cancel Mike gives me trouble. That’s not very nice to loyal customers like myself.

Never Again. I been going there for years. But lately as of 2011, their pizza has gone down hill. I ordered a New London Special (most toppings) on it and it was very SKIMMPY with the ingrediants, more specific like very little cheese and the toppings were cut very thin...I was very dissapointed...paid $15.37 for an over priced pizza. I could have gotten three cheese pizzas at Ginardi's for that price! I think it is time for me to go to another pan pizza place. They just seem not to care anymore or less. It is a bit better with the father/Mike is at the store vs. his son who just talks with all the help/girls.

DO NOT GIVE NEW LONDON YOUR BUSINESS!. Don’t even bother placing an order because they will ignore your request and give you whatever they feel like making. Once you receive the wrong order don't even bother calling and if you do call, don't expect any reasonable response or courteous customer service!
