Best sushi in the area. I do not know why this place is not better known. It is exceptional on every level: the owner is so kind and delightful; the sushi is staggeringly good; the ambiance is casual, friendly, and quite attractive. I've tried sushi elsewhere on the Main Line and have not been impressed. The sushi here ranks as high as at places I've been to in NYC and is a contender with Sagami in Collingswood, NJ. It is a mystery to me why there are not lines out the door (not that I want there to be...). Perhaps it's the location? A reviewer on Google maps dissed the owner and the food. It was slander of the worst kind. Without going into details, I'll just say that my family is inter-racial and the owner loves us all. He is a kind, humble man of intregity. This restaurant is a gem. I wish it continued success, which is why I wrote this, and why I won't mind a line if I see one!

Best sashimi and sushi - wonderful service. I frequent Ginza once per week, so I feel as though my review should be taken very seriously. This place is wonderful. You can get appetizer size sashimi for a very reasonable price - the sashimi (my favorite, though my husband is a sushi man) is always very fresh. They have specials such as oysters (excuse that fact that I don't recall the sashimi name for oysters) and other specials all of the time.

The rolls are wonderful. My personal favorite is the dragon roll. Furthermore, they give you edamame for FREE when you sit down. Oh - and try the avocado salad - very generous with the avocado.

This is a BYOB which makes it even more wonderful - saves you money. And the owner greets you at the door and holds it open as you leave - always with a huge smile.

Enjoy!

I recommend the Ginza rolls.... ...and maybe the spider roll, but that's about it. Even though the rolls are tasty (I suppose if you put enough spicy mayo and tobiko roe on anything it will taste good), the sushi/sashimi is where this place falls flat on its face. Embarrassingly enough (for them), the snapper that I got once had a VERY FISHY odor, and the toro was oily-mouthed in a bad way (think of stale cooking oil)... I mean come on! Hikaru, Mikado in Cherry Hill, and Sagami all have much better sushi.
