In Short – Founded in 1983, this high-tech haven is recognizable by its blue, box-like building stamped with a yellow price tag-shaped logo. Explore the wide, gadget-lined aisles and find brand-name goods including personal computers, video games, TVs, digital cameras, cell phones and fax machines. Choose from a slew of popular brands such as Canon, Microsoft, Samsung and Sony. In-house installation services are available for most car audio and video systems, home entertainment systems, satellite hook-up, and home appliances.

Sometimes reaching someone on the phone is real tough. But today on Black Friday they had plenty of people working which was nice.

SPECIAL OFFER

by charley1943 at Citysearch

Don't buy extended warranty special on computers. We were assured the $300 extended warranty special included free internet installation and service for several months. We had three weeks of bad internet service and are being harrassed by Microsoft for over $500 and we're still out the $300. The salesman apparently didn't get the facts right.

Best Buy has everything you need for today's digital lifestyle. from music, movies, electronics, TV's, DVD players, laptops, PC's etc..you name it and they probably carry it. also their prices aren't bad.

they always have specials on new releases for both music and DVD movies. I recently bought the new Red Hot Chili Peppers cd for $12 bucks when it was offered for $15-17 bucks elsewhere. good deal.

  • Pros: wide selection, music and DVDs, decent prices
