Look up: This enclave boasts over six hundred acres of some of the largest trees in the state.. In Short Tyler Arboretum is a great place to get away. The arboretum, located 45 miles west of Philadelphia, contains more than 20 miles of trails through pristine woodlands. As you follow the trails, keep watch for trees marked with blue labels: at 150 years old, these 23 trees are some of the oldest and largest trees in the state. The arboretum's first new exhibit in over 20 years is the Stopford Family Meadow Maze.
