Our FAVORITE bar/restaurant in Delco

We always have a great meal at this place. Bartenders and wait staff are tops. It seems to be a "family" run business and everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and are enjoying your meal. Their seafood is outstanding as well as their roast beef platters and club sandwiches. If you are looking for that SPECIAL place to call your own - look no farther. It's the Boathouse in Media.

Great place for our family

We love to take our 5 year old for grilled cheese and love the roast beef sandwiches along with the coldest beer in delaware county!

Family owned and operated, welcoming staff, kid friendly, great sandwiches, homemade specialties, fresh seafood, lots of parking! Jersey shore feel, unique, nautical atmosphere! Outside dining, huge bar that looks like a boat! Worth a visit, even if you are not from the area...love the Roast Beef Sandwich, Jean's chili, soups, and shrimp salad...been on the menu for years! Weekend specials are always different, delicious, and exciting! Website has great info and lists menu items.

P.S. There IS a seperate non-smoking area with booths/T.V.'s, great for families and NO, that bartender is no longer on staff, the current bartenders are awesome!
