Rich Thomas did a great job. will keep his card around for the next car we need.
Chris provided the absolute best service we have ever received when purchasing a car. He repeatedly went out of his way to give us all the information, constantly kept us updated on the status of the deal, and catered to our every concern and/or request with a level of customer service that we believe is unprecedented in the car industry. We flew 1,300 miles to pick up our new Golf TDI and drive it home, and we would not hesitate to do it again, nor would we hesitate to convince our family and friends that they should not buy a VW from anyone BUT him. Chris has definitely earned our permanent business.
I thought the salesman, Rich, was excellent. He was very helpful and straight to the point. This was the best experience I had buying a car. I love my new car!!! Thank you so much!!
I purchased a 2012 Passat S. My experience from walking in the door, to the sales person, right down to the manager and finance, were all positive. My salesman was very laid back and not at all pushy. I knew exactly what I wanted, and he made sure I got the exact car I was looking for. They gave me the deal I wanted, and they delivered right through the signing of paperwork. I was so pleased with their service, that I also took my wife there to purchase her 2011 Jetta last week. The transaction was just as smooth for her as it was for me. VW Langhorne should be your first stop if you are looking to buy a new or used Volkswagen. It is definitely a relaxed- no pressure atmosphere.
While traveling I-95 from Baltimore to
Boston with my neice and 2 small babies it became clear the car needed new wiper blades. There was more wet weather ahead and darkness, so we pulledoff on Rt.1 business in Langhorne. We hope to buy a set of replacements as an autoparts store and change them ourselves. But when we saw the VW dealer we decided to pull in.
The service department directed me to the parts deptarment saying if I bought a pair of wiper blades they would have someone install them. Before I even finished paying, they had someone out at the car and the install was done. The little ones in the back didn't even need to be disturbed.
They guys (didn't get names) were pleasant and you certainly don't often find that kind of efficience. Especially considering they knew we would not be return customers!
We bought a new Jetta TDI from Chris
Farnham at Volkswagen of Langhorne last year. It was the best car buying experience we could ask for. Here is why:
1. He found exactly the car we wanted.
2. He promptly responded to all emails and calls.
3. There was no "hard selling" or trying to convince us to buy a bigger or better car. We told him what we wanted, and he did his best to find exactly that.
4. PRICE!!! I have no doubt that we paid the best possible price for our car. During our car search, we shopped around all of the VW dealerships in our area and called dealerships in other states.
Before we spoke to Chris at VW of Langhorne, we had visited a dealership much closer to our house. When they called to follow up with us, I gave them the opportunity to match Chris's price. They wouldn't beat or match his price, and our salesperson at the first dealership even told me that there must be hidden costs in his quote, and that there was no way we were buying the car for that price because it was less than their employee discounted price. Well, he was wrong. There were no hidden costs, no surprises, just exactly what we wanted for the best price possible. We won't buy a VW anywhere else.
Great people! Very accommodating, stress free conversation, professional service, I highly recommend for anyone interested to have German car at Japanese prices, Keep up the good work!
I live closer to two other dealerships
but I make the longer trip to deal with the guys in Langhorne. Here's why.
I am on my second VW from this location. My 1st was a 2003 Passat GLS 1.8t - hands down, the best car I ever bought - and the service staff was helpful throughout the lifetime of that car. Got is used in 06 drive it for 140k trouble free miles just traded it in on a 2012 Jetta SE with convenience. Sold by Max Colish, good guy, easy going, helpful, no pressure. We were at first dealing with a lower trim level Dave Swartz got us a great deal on the next step up.
Alas, my new 2012 Jetta had a weird noise after a few hundred miles. I took it back, the service staff agreed immediately that it was a problem - no runaround, no excuses.
VW of NA had to get involved. They too agreed it was a problem. Turned out it was a spot weld issue from when it was manufactured that was in a very tricky location. VW agreed to replace the car.
Dave and Frank were very communicative, always friendly, made sure I had a loaner and helped handle the deal when VW agreed to replace the car.
The dealership did everything possible to make sure we were satisfied and informed throughout the situation and made sure the transfer for he new car went very smoothly. Our new-new Jetta is wonderful and we are very pleased.
Love VWs and love working with Langhorne, we will be back again.
