poor place to buy a car

The worst experience I have ever had, "buying my first new car" !! The dealer took my deposit on a Friday night and told me that they had the car I wanted at another branch. They told me they would not "make the call" to secure a car until I hand delivered a check for 500.00. I went to the bank and purchased a Bank Check and hand delivered it. Then they didn't secure the car at their other dealer that evening because they claim they were so busy with walk in customers...(what was I) and next day the car was sold. Let it be known they had no problem securing my deposit !!. Then they could not find us another car in the same color or transmission,as well as the alternative choice I gave them so they figured on the old and bait / switch..Very smug, referred to themselves as the deli counter for new cars,that they had plenty of business..I just wish they had been honest. Can't wait till the cash for clunkers program is over..maybe then this dealer will be a little bit humble when they have to rely on their reputation alone.

They have ruined my opinion of HONDA, PIAZZA GROUP and the whole car buying process.

Oh...Joe offered to order me a 2010 however told me I would have to pay 1000.00 more...Maybe he has an extra 1000.00 laying around on his end table. They act as if that's a drop in the bucket for a first time buyer just out of school.

The icing on the cake..We gave them a 500.00 deposit on 8/07/09 and couldn't get a refund until 8/20/09. Funny how quickly they asked for it to secure the car they had in stock "at their other location".

Repeated attempts to try and fix this and do business with this dealer resulted in a big fat O.

Do your homework before buying a car here.

went there last year when looking for a 2007 Civic, such pushy sales people and the price sky high, so we got the Civic at another dealer........so looking for the best price we tried again this year when looking for a CR-V EXL.........waste of time........Sloane Honda in NE Phila is the best price ....................since Piazza is close to us took the Civic for recall and they act like they are doing you a favor fixing it...............calling service, the phone rings 15 times(7-24-08) before anyone picks up and then it's like you are bothering them.........but they are busy........can't get a service appointment for at least a week and when they want to service it or you have to leave it till the evening
