AMAZING - A LIQUIDATION SALE without the SALE!.
My experience at Darro was awful as a manager told me they'd hold a piece of furniture for me (I offered to give information over the phone), and when I arrived a few hours later it was sold....the day before, apparently. I dont believe it (Was there 30 minutes before closing the day before).
What I do believe is they sold it to a poor sap who paid approximately $400 more than the product retailed for. After tripling the price (found the exact piece of furniture elsewhere), they slashed it down....keeping it at a rate that was still almost double the retail price. When I noted this, they told me they'd give it to me for $25 (big deal!) cheaper....BUT THEN THEY SOLD IT TO SOMEONE ELSE! I wanted to support what I thought was a local, family business only to find out that they are exactly like most big businesses. The management was rude and obnoxious throughout this matter. I'm sure they'll be having a true liquidation sale soon!
