Since its 1952 debut in Memphis, Tenn., Holiday Inn has become one of the most recognized hotel brands in the world. Kids rule here: Children age 19 and younger stay for free when sharing a parent's room and as many as four children per family (age 12 or younger) eat for free at hotel restaurants. Other amenities include 24-hour business services, an in-room coffeemaker, iron, hair dryer, room service, a swimming pool and a fitness center.

If it is all you have left . . .. I was forced to go here becuase of my last minute trip to the area. When they say "50 years the familiar green blah blah blah" that is code for letting you know the hotel is 50 yrs old and has not been touched since then. It stinks, the beds are dirty (and this is just what I can see) the showers have no pressure and the prices are way too high. I like Holiday Inn Expresses and the new style and attitude of Holiday Inn. But this attitude is obviously limited to outside of the east coast, where the old attitude and the old style Holiday Inns prevail. My advice is to stay away from this one.
