The three pleasant and careful movers did a really good job getting me out of my house in Doylestown and a really great job getting me and my large furniture into a new apartment on the Main Line. They went above and beyond to make things all work out.

Wonderful experience, pleasant staff

This is the second time that I have used Sloane's and once again was very impressed with the staff and service. The experience from calling for a free estimate to delivery of our furniture was wonderful. I was most impressed with the attitude and work ethic of the delivery men. I would highly recommend this company to help you in the difficult task of moving.

Only use if you want the owner to accuse you of lying

We had a very unpleasant experience with this company. Be aware that in the event there is any form of dispute, the owner will side with his employees over the customer. The arrogant owner accused us of lying when we described some unacceptable behavior by his employees. We personally witnessed the behavior but when we complained, the owner sided with his employees no matter what we said. They also 'babied' some of our furniture and appliances with nice dents and dings. There was also the episode where the we were told the movers would show up at noon to perform their task. they never showed up. when we called to find out where they were we were simply told that no one would schedule the movers to show up at noon. This was despite the fact that we had not only been told they would show up at noon, but we also called the day before to CONFIRM they would be there at noon and were told they would. My personal opinion: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! In the event of any dispute, the owner will call you a liar and side with his employees. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Class Act

What a wonderful moving crew! Sloane moved my husband and I from a 2nd floor 2-bedroom apartment to a 3rd floor apartment with no elevators. Did they complain? Not at all! The movers (2 at first, but later they had to call on two more movers to help unload because we had so much and we absolutely did not have a problem with that) were quick, efficient, and incredibly careful with our items. They came on time, did not even take a long lunch (and they deserved longer than a half hour), and worked very hard. After a long, hard day of moving, they even offered to put our bed together. Aside from their work, they were also friendly, funny, and just a joy to have around.

I have been very weary of using moving companies since a terrible experience with another company years ago. But, even with our Friday the 13th move, they made this experience wonderful. I highly recommend Sloane moving company to anyone!

Employees are HONEST and professional

We highly recommend Sloan. The employees showed up on time and were very professional. We were especially impressed when one of the employees (Alex) found an envelope of cash (not a huge amount but enough to tempt many) and brought it to our attention. You don't find such honesty very often these days, and we hope the owner appreciates these fine men he has in his employ.
