The Home of Sandy Pizza. They put this Sand on the bottom of the pizza and when you are done a slice you have to brush the sand off your hands. The more sand that comes off your hands the better the pizza is. When everthing else is closed Imperial is still open. I could really go for some Sandy pizza right now, its been a long time.
imperial Pizza. I just went to imperial pizza which i used to do alot years ago...the pizza was always above average for a good price$6 or so...now the cheese has a tart taste and the price was like 8 bucks for a bad tasting pizza.....shame to see a store thats been around so long to drop off so bad....Hope it improves.
awsome. pizza is cheap and amazing. and just to let everyone know there is about 25 parking spaces behind the shop and you can enter through the back entrance. people seem to think they arent aloud
Here's the Deal.... This is definitely not the "best" pizza you're ever going to have - it is; however, the best in this area. We find the key is to order extra cheese if you're getting a plain pizza - and ask for it to be well done if you like your crust crispy. The guys are nice and the food is consistent, which is always a plus in my book!
Nice Deal, but not the greatest pizza..
This pizza is not the best by far. It is pretty plain tasting. I think its pretty funny that everyone is saying it is the best. It is true that the price is so inexpensive at $6 per pizza. That is a great deal! I eat there alot, but it is only to save a couple dollars. Personally, I would rather eat a tastier pzza, then save the $4.
I don't want to bad talk them because they are nice people, and the pizza is eatable and at a great price. I would recommend going there, but don't expect the best pizza you've ever eaten. But you never know, and if you don't like it, it was only $6!!!
Best Pizza around. When I moved from a very Italian community in upstate New York, I thought I would never find a pizza that compared to my favorite pizzeria back home... until I found this place. From the outside, it looks like a dive, but walking back from the station several days, and smelling the Pizza, I had to try it... and I was NOT disappointed. The sauce is great, good cheese, and a good crust. A large pepperoni with extra cheese came to less than $8.00 - compare that to $15.00 WITH a coupon at Pizza Hut... I'll take it any day of the week (and it's ready in 10 minutes!)
Awesome PIZZA. I have been enjoying this pizza since the 1960's.I miss the delivery service and the great taste.I live out of town but come back just to get the pizza. My kids and now my grandkids love this pizza.WHY? Because it tastes great and costs little. We enjoy the thin crust and sauce.YUM!!!
Mediocre at best. My husband and I just picked up two pizzas from Imperial based on these reviews. We just moved here from Boston, so we're in the hunt for a new favorite pizza joint. This was definitely not it. The crust was not a good base. While it was sufficiently crunchy and had potential, it was simply flavorless. The sauce tasted canned and was on the dry side -- not enough on the crust. The cheese was tasty but was sparse. I guess you get what you pay for.
BEST PIZZA STILL. I MOVED 1 1/2 AWAY ILL STILL DRIVE DOWN JUST TO GET THERE PIZZA. MY FATHER WENT THERE AS A KID AND PAYED THE SAME AS I DO TO DAY. ANYBODY THAT HAS PIZZA THERE WILL ALWAYS GO BACK IF THERE DOWN BY THAT AREA. GREAT PIZZA
The ONLY good pizza!. If you live around Secane, Glenolden, then you know every pizza place tastes the same - not Imerial! This is actually excellent pizza & super cheap! Always ready in 10 minutes - we never get pizza anywhere else anymore.
