Horrible experience!.
I went there last night (the one in Clifton Heights) because I'm in a wedding in May and just found out I'm pregnant (I'm 25 and married). When I said that I figured I'd lose my deposit on the original dress I was told "that dress is yours, you have to pay the rest, we don't cover little ACCIDENTS!" My baby is a blessing, not an accident. I didn't even push, the bride was there and I didn't want a scene, so I walked over to the dresses and said I couldn't order one until I could try one on somewhere that had a baby cushion (most stores do to see how you'll look in it when you're larger). A woman with blond hair must have heard because she shouted across the store "Hey, WE didn't get you pregnant!" I can't believe anyone would treat a person that way! In the main part of the store she shouted that with Betty herself (the owner) sat next to her! I told them I'd worry about my other dress later because I was horribly offended by how I was being treated and the blonde woman sighed and Betty said "fine, whatever!"

I will NEVER recommend anyone to shop here!.
My best friend and I went to look at bridesmaid dresses at Betty's Bridal. I've been planning my wedding for three months now and I've never before encountered anyplace associated with weddings that was so offensive. The entire staff was rude, unhelpful and insulting. They demonstrated that they weren't interested in selling us dresses, showing us anything and they we were merely bothering them. No one stood up, offered to help us, asked what color I wanted, what price range I was working with, or even bothered to say, "Let me show you some things." One salesperson went so far as to insult both my best friend and me by suggesting that I was looking at dresses that were too expensive and that I shouldn't expect such things from my bridesmaids. I was flabbergasted that this particular salesperson had the nerve to assume what "expensive" was for my budget and what type of wedding I should have. (Everyone in my wedding party is a professional and budget is hardly a big issue.) I'm having a black tie affair and want them to look elegant. So, instead of being nice, and trying to get me to buy all four bridesmaids dresses there and spending money with this shop, I'm going elsewhere. Clearly it was more important to "get rid" of the customers than to actually help them. Shame on Betty's Bridal.
