Excellent choice. I chose J&K based on a friend's referal and was very pleased. J&K was on time and was very good at meeting my container delivery needs. I recently remodeled my house and utilized several dumpsters. When I called, they hauled! It was easy and my contractor was able to keep working which saved me money.

IGNORANT OWNER/DAMAGE PROPERTIES. My neighbor hired this company to remove trash from her home. On her contract it states that she needed to provide enough space for the company to place their trash bin, which she did. The street is a small street with one sided parking only. She cleared 2 parking spots for them. After she was done with the trash bin, they came to remove it on the morning of 12/17/09. The driver decided he did not want to wait for the cars that were parked in front of him or in back of him to move so that he could pull it out the CORRECT way, he decided that he would try to improvise and pull it out another way which ended up damaging my property. The driver proceeded to pull the trash bin out diagnolly and ended up on MY PROPERTY and SIDEWALK. Due to the weight of the truck and bin, it caused my sidewalk to cave in completely. He broke 2 entire blocks on my sidewalk, whch I actually had repaired a few months back. I switched insurance companies and one of the things I had to do was repair that exact part of the sidewalk (there was a small crack) because it was considered a safety hazard. I have photos showing that I had it fixed which I had to send to the insurance company so they would insure my property. Now I have a bigger problem because my sidewalk is CAVED IN, and it is the part where the drain is, which I think they may have also broken. My neighbors saw what happened and left a note on my door with the company's number. By the time I saw the night it was past business hours, so I called the police to come and make a report. The police advised me to contact the company in the morning and see if they would cooperate. I called the next day and explained to the owner and before I could finish he interrupted me very rudely and said "you need to return that number back to your neighbor because we are not responsible, the person who contracted us is." I asked him how that was possible if HIS DRIVER was operating the vehicle and came onto MY sidewalk?? He then proceeded to accuse me of trying to "swindle" him out of money. I did not ONCE mention I wanted money to him. NOT ONCE. The only thing I asked of him was to take responsibility as a business owner and company to fix my sidewalk. That is it. He proceeded to hang up on me like a child. I called back several times and everytime, like a child....he hung up on me. He was completely unprofessional and RUDE. Finally the last time I called he decided to pick up and THREATEN ME stating that if I didn't stop calling and if i did not "SHUT UP, HE WOULD COME DOWN TO THAT HOUSE AND MAKE ME!!!" He also called my neighbor and left her a very nasty message as well. All I want is my sidewalk to be repaired because I do not want to be responsible for someone being injured walking by my house because of the sidewalk. Please if someone could help me with this issue and tell me what are the other steps I need to take to resolve this as soon as possible. I think that the owner of this company does not take responsibility for their mistakes. If they are trying to get out of a sidewalk that their driver damaged, who knows what other damages their drivers have caused on other jobs where they just left the scene and not cared. The owners exact quote to me is "the blame is on the person that contracted us, we are not responsible for any damage caused" So I guess if they hit someone's house or car.....its the person who hired them responsibility???????

Great service. They are there any time of day with a dumpster. Their drivers are very courteous. Couldn't get my job done without their help. Their prices are very competitve. Check them out.
