$50 mistake. I went to Yangming for a celebratory dinner with my sister. We order the Peking Duck, some cocktail etc.. we decided it what the heck, it was a big celebration, so we ordered a bottle of the Menu vintage Dom Perignon, we were told the vintage on the menu was not available but the next vintage was, We were charge the price for the Older vintage, any sommelier will tell you that is not what should have happened, they should have charged much less since the two Vintages were both available.

My favorite Chinese restaurant.. I have eaten at Yangming several times over the past few years, and it continues to be the best Chinese Restaurant I have experienced. The dining area is very pleasant and elegant. I had the Golden Crabmeat purse for an appetizer. It was interesting to look at, and wonderful to eat. The Firecracker veal was just spicy enough and very good.

I have tried and love just about all of the desserts. I especially like the creme brulee.

The service has always been A1, pleasant and attentive.

terrible expeience. First of all I am an associate pastor, and my wife is an business owner. We eat out pretty regularly from Morimoto downtown to tao in Manhattan, and I can confidently say this was one of if not the most unauthentic chinese resturaunts we ever experienced, and my wife is asian. The food is take out level at exorbitent prices and from other review i can say

good service will be a toss up. The first red flag was the linguine with i think marinara sauce on the menu, and some assorted mexican dishes, i should have trusted my instincts and got up and left. Our waiter practically threw our plates at us, took our orders with an attitude, and basically showed us that serving us was very painful to him. My wife was extremely offended and upset, our children seemed uncomfortable, We have two at Shipely, and two at Episcopal and i would say they are pretty well adjusted children, and i hated seeing them put in that situation, feeling unwanted there. I being a minister usually try to down play people with bad attitudes, at which my wife wanted to kick me in my head for not supporting her, but she is right no establishment should have anybody working for them that exhibits this kind of behavior. My children also experienced cramps, and i felt a little queezy after the meal, maybe the food maybe not, but it was as unauthentic as is Bryn mawr is far from China. I recognize Bryn mawr as an upscale community with great shops and food, but this place is an black eye to the community. Suffer the ride and congestion and find a place in china town if you want to get the best for your money.

The quality of the food has dropped substantially.. The quality has dropped decidedly since our previous visit. My daughter and I had an entrie of shimp and scallops with Chinese vegetables and were very disappointed. The dish was tasteless and what was offered as scallops were large whitish discs that were soft, mushy and tateless. I grew up on seafood and know that the muscle of a scallop should be solid and firm. These pretend scalops had apparently been diced out of some other creature. I know that business are hurting, but I would rather have had one or two real scallops. Sorry we won't be back
