In Short – Pastel restroom wallpaper bears a striking resemblance to vintage Pucci print. Fresh ingredients and professional preparations create better-than-fast Chinese fare. The sea bass in rice paper with wasabi and tempura-battered Ahi tuna are good bets, but stick to classics like seafood with vegetables in a noodle basket and crunchy shrimp with honey walnuts.

The quality of the food has dropped substantially.

by JerseyFarmer

The quality has dropped decidedly since our previous visit. My daughter and I had an entrie of shimp and scallops with Chinese vegetables and were very disappointed. The dish was tasteless and what was offered as scallops were large whitish discs that were soft, mushy and tateless. I grew up on seafood and know that the muscle of a scallop should be solid and firm. These pretend scalops had apparently been diced out of some other creature. I know that business are hurting, but I would rather have had one or two real scallops. Sorry we won't be back

Yangming - Truly the Main Line Style

by summerluv95

Not only does the food here differ, the company too. Everywhere you look, you can see families gathering together, friends going out for a drink, or people meeting to discuss business. For us, it was family outing. There are chairs in the front for people to wait. We happened to sit in the back, where it was more spacious. The food had a high class quality to it that lived up to its name. It tasted a bit fusion. I would suggest the General Tso Chicken for children and the Crabmeat Fried Rice. You definitely can not forget to try the tiramisu for dessert!

Good food

by welshrabbit

The Mongolian lamb here is quite delicious. I have no idea if it's authentic, but it's tasty, that's for sure. There are two sides to this restaurant in the evenings, one for parties consisting only of adults and the other for people with children. The adult side is much nicer and service is better and more attentive. If you go with someone under 21, you will be seated in a back pocket somewhere and a bit less attention will be paid to you. The difference is good and better, not good and bad, though, so either side is fine really. The food is good, the prices are reasonable.

  • Pros: Good food
  • Cons: Seems to be either crowded or empty

The Details on Yangming

Know Before You Go:

This family-style place is great for youngsters, who won't stick their tongues out at the Chinese pizza appetizer or the chocolate-dipped fortune cookies.

Parking:

The lot's free, but still fills up during peak hours, and there are no on-street options. Best bet: Stalk a departing customer as he heads to his Volvo.
