In Short – From the outside, it's just another specialty shop along Lancaster Avenue. Inside, the athletic smell of new sneakers hits the nose like a faithful jogger hitting the track. Walls display the history of local and international running legends, from racing god Steve Prefontaine to Olympic competitor Jen Rhines (a former employee), whose Villanova University singlet hangs in the shoe department.

Excellent Store

They have always been very helpful and knowledgeable, but I was motivated to write a review today because I was blown away by how classy they were. Here's the situation: I got a gift card for my birthday to Bryn Mawr Running Company, but instead of the $25 it was supposed to have, when they rang up my purchase, the card had $0! Instead of giving me a hard time, the salesman took $25 off the price of the shoes and sent me happily on my way.
This place knows how to treat customers in a way that makes them want to come back!
