ONE OF THE BEST. I was looking for a section for months! My mom had told me about this great consignment store next to her favorite deli. When I finally had time to check it out I was amazed by the great selection of furniture, pictures, nic nacs, and jewelry. Although it was busy when I was in, I was greeted by a happy women behind the counter who explained the markdown system to me. As I was looking she made sure I was being helped. The staff moved things out of the way to help me get a better look as well as calculating the price after the markdown. The sectional I had picked out was there for 2 months! On top of finding a great sectional the price was reduced to $799! I went home with a black leather sectional in perfect shape. This would have cost much more at a normal furniture store. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER. Will be back in the future!
DO NOT WANT TO PAY- DON'T DO IT!!.
If you can find a deal now, before they are likely to go out business, great. DO NOT HAND OVER YOUR MERCHANDISE. THEY DO NOT LIKE TO PAY CONSIGNORS. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.
I have had nothing but trouble with this company. NEVER seen business handled so poorly.
I have been waiting for my last payment since December 2010- it's now August 2011. On top of it, I'm treated as if I have the IQ of a child.
I Noticed the sign on the building has changed to another name. I have a feeling its a sign they are on their way out of business. After "trying " to do business with them- it's no surpirse.
Best Place to find Quality Items at bargain prices!!.
I was looking for a cheap table and chairs for my kitchen. I had just shopped the thrift store and I was dissapointed to only find damaged, worn out sets. They were cheap, but not very nice. I found this place next to the Dollar store and I was impressed. The furniture was so nice, I had to ask if it really was used. They had a bunch of handbags, scarves, little statues and the kind of stuff you find in antique shops, and some of it is new. I would say that if you are looking for anything for you or your house, you should stop there. The people are nice and you can get more than you thought you would.
One final thought, pre-owned merchandise lends itself to green living. I am no activist, but it feels good knowing that I helped the planet in one small way.
Best store for consignment.
I bought a beautiful corner curio that lights up at Interior Consignment Showplace. It was from Oscar Huber and was a Philip Reinish. I had researched these for a few years and didn't want to pay near $1,900.00, so I had been looking to buy a used one. When I walked into this store for the first time,it was right there waiting for me. It was in excellent condition, not one scratch, or blemish on it. When it was lit up, I just knew I had to have it. It had mirrors on the back part that reflected the beautiful pieces that I was to put in there. It had two doors top and bottom, and beveled glass. It had been in the store for a few weeks and I knew that if I waited a few more weeks that the price would be going down. Nope, I wasn't waiting for someone else to swoop it up! I paid for it along with the delivery., and that Saturday, it was mine. The person that helped me was Loretta? This was a few years ago, but since then I have browsed in and bought a few things. If you are looking for bargain prices like your local thrift store, or Salvation Army, then this isn't the place for you. They sell top quality, name bran furnishings, etc. But still so worth it! Desinger prices for less. AND if you happen to see something that has been sitting there for a while, and are willing to wait and take a chance, then you will really see a bargain as they reduce the price. . They also have a site/store on ebay. The delivery charge was reasonable, and they came in and set up the glass shelves. I paid less than one third of the original cost of this item, as it cost me about $600.00. + delivery. Stop in,,,or better yet, instead of putting your beautiful items up for sale and bringing strangers to your home, Call them, they will pick up your furniture/items, and do all the work. And then you get the check! Hope to deal with them again! Thanks!
