Horrendous service. Right from the start it seemed as though they were trying to upsell. As soon as they walked in the bathroom door before they even got to the sink they started saying “oh this pipe could be a problem”. How could you make a statement like that and you haven’t even gotten to the problem yet.

They never unclogged the drain and still charged me $150. They told me it would be $500 to have the bathroom pipe replaced. Additionally, the plumber that was at my house kept going up and down the steps with so much force I thought he was going to come through the steps. He was like a rhinoceros coming down the steps.

I asked him could they use a video camera to see what was clogging the drain and he said “we never send video cameras into clogged drains”. He actually told me they have to be open and clear before they send a camera down. D’oh, if it’s open and clear and water is flowing fine then I won’t need a camera to diagnostic.

I had used Wexler several years ago several times and got an older gentleman and the service was superb. It has apparently gone downhill drastically with what appears to be plumbers that just want to upsell you, get-in and get-out and charge regardless of whether they actually accomplished their mission.

NEVER AGAIN will I use or recommend them.

Terrible service. I'd used them years before, but was reluctant to do so again because their plumber turned the water back on without sealing off a water pipe he'd cut. The result, a waterfall from my second floor to my basement. To top this off, they were rude when I asked them to take an amount off my bill for the damage.

But, I was desperate & so called. The woman who answered the phone said nobody could come give an estimate for four days. When I asked about the emergency service they list on the website she simply repeated that nobody could come for four days - but this time in a rude tone of voice. So, they're off my list again.

Very Professional. The office staff was professional and knowledgable when I called. The plumbers were, quick, efficient, clean and professional. I would recommend Sam Wexler Plumbing to any of my friends and family.
