Nikki C is the best colorist!. I have always had the worst experiences getting my hair colored. In college, I had platinum blonde hair, and decided after college, that I wanted to go dark and be natural. I had years of bad coloring experiences. No one could get it right! I often had to go back for color corrections, etc.

After moving to Ardmore, I did some research and found that everyone recommended Nikki C. at Jay Michael. I figured I'd give it a go. I went in for a color consultation with Nikki C., and brought a few pictures with me. Nikki C. took her time with me and asked me alot of different questions to get an idea of what I truly wanted. I immediately felt at ease and could tell she was a real pro at haircolor.

When it came time for my appointment, I went in confident because I felt so comfortable with Nikki C. In the past, I would always feel anxious and worried about going to my haircolor appointments because I was so worried about whether they would mess up or not. I wasn't worried at all with Nikki C. She worked her magic. Nikki C. gave my hair an all over color, and then weaved in some highlights and lowlights with shades of auburn, copper and some lighter and darker shades. She also threw in some balayage underneath. My hair looked absolutely amazing when all was said and done. I have received some many compliments and will not go anywhere else. The outcome of having beautiful, multi-dimensional color that looks this good is well worth the money!!!

Great Haircuts. I've been getting my haircut at Jay Michael in Ardmore for years, and I've always left very satisfied. They have a number of different talented hairstylists. I've been going to Allison for about a year now, and she is very personable, professional and always does a great job. Highly recommend.

Jay Michael Salon in Saint Davids. I first discovered this salon during a promotion for a charity they did where services were highly discounted. Manicure and haircut were great, so I went there again for a full price manicure. It was still great and I got a 10 minute complementary massage. So I discovered Tom, who gives great deep tissue massage. I can't comment on their hair services as I go elsewhere for that, but I would highly recommend this salon for nails and Tom for massage. Staff is friendly and pleasant, salon is clean and airy, plenty of free parking.

Christina is the BEST!. I love Christina at Jay Michael. She is an amazing colorist! I value her opinion ! She takes her time when she cuts my hair and I consistently get a great cut from Christina! She puts my young daughters at ease when she cuts their hair. I am thrilled Jay Michael Salon is open on Sundays!! The Salon is clean and I feel I receive Top Notch Service!

Haircut. I went to Jay Michaels with one of my friends. She got a haircut and it lookes amazing. Since her hair got messed up once by an pretty unknown haircutter she was kinda affraid that this might happen again. but after her experience she's more than confident in going back again. the service was really good and convincing! Its definitly worth it going there

Keratin Express withJudie. I used to hate my hair in warm, humid climates. Summer time was a nightmare. My hair is very wavy and gets frizzy ... if I dont get a Keratin treatment from Judie. Judie give me Keratin Express, which is supposed to last 6-8 weeks. I get months from a treatment. My hair is super shiny, so easy to blow dry (if I decide to), and even my touch-ups last much longer. If you fight with your hair, try Keratin Express with Judie

Rude and obnoxious. The receptionists at the Jay Michael salon are incredibly rude and unpleasant. After I waited for one full hour, I apparently had a lot of nerve to say that it was not appropriate. The receptionist was rude to say the least. The manager who walked up to see what the issue was just shrugged his shoulders.

Apparently repeat customers are not a priority, and I will happily make sure that I won't be back.

J.J. the colorist. I have been going to J.J. Manning to color my hair for six years. Initially, I was nervous about going to a professional salon to get my color, but he did a wonderful job from the first time and every time since! I often have people tell me that I am lucky I don't have to get my hair colored yet, so I know that the color looks natural! He is very skilled at his job, and I recommend him to friends whenever I can!

Nicki C is a Great Colorist. I stoppped going for a while and tried to color my hair myself. Not good! Nicki is patient and helpful and nice and really works with you. She does an amazing job with color, tinting, double process etc.

This place is pricey, no bargain hunting, but for great color, I recommend Nicki highly.

I won't go anywhere else. Lisa is by far the best hair stylist I have ever gone to. Prior to discovering her talents, I was terrified of getting a hair cut because no one would ever listen to my wishes - they'd do what they wanted with my hair. In Lisa's chair, I do nothing but relax. I have the utmost trust in her abilities and knowledge -- if something doesn't work with my hair, she'll tell me, rather than talk me into something because it leads to a bigger payday (as other stylists have done in the past). She is absolutely phenomenal and I recommend her to any and every one! Jay Michael is a bit pricey, but it is worth every single penny - you're definitely paying for quality!
