I go to Villanova and had never gotten my haircut by school before. All I asked for was a trim and ended up with my hair completely wrecked-- I usually have long layers and an angle which I thought would be simple enough, but now the bottom of my hair is thinned and I have a side bang at my shoulder ($65 later).

I came home to my regular salon (where I receive a great haircut for $20) to get it fixed up and the entire staff was shocked by my haircut. Long story short-- now my hair is chopped and I have to wait months for it to grow back. PLEASE save yourself the stress and the money and go somewhere else. I wish somebody had told me that ahead of time.

I'm a student so I was trying to find a good place near college and this is the place. I had a great haircut with amazing service. So reliable and they have great hours! They scheduled me in with only a moments notice!

I go to school at Villanova and only go to Jay Michael to get my hair done! I was recommended by a friend at school and haven't tried somewhere new because not only is it close, but it is beautiful inside, the stylists are very professional and cut/color wonderfully...plus the prices are very average and reasonable compared to other salons on the Mainline. Definitely make an appointment for your next haircut or hair color at Jay Michael in Radnor!

I am new to the Main Line. I had my hair cut with Salvator last Wednesday and it was amazing. I feel like a new person. I have been trying to get a good layered "hot" look and Sal delivered. I couldn't be happier. I've been looking for someone for over a year. Pay extra for a top stylist, it is so worth it. The blow out was perfect and I haven't had a cut this good since living in NY years ago. Makes perfect sense since Sal cut hair in NY for 7+ years. He's really really great. I rarely write reviews, unless it's extremely bad or in this case, extremely great. I will stay with Sal for as long as he is in Radnor. Thanks Sal!!

I felt compelled to write about such an amazing stylist at Jay Michael. I met Lauren over 2 years ago she was referred to me for hair extensions. I had been to several other salons and they told me my hair was to weak and damaged to even think about it. She gave me hope and said we will start off slowly and see how your hair responds. We put in just enough to make my hair look fuller and a little bit of length. I was like a new woman! Over the past two years I have continued working with Lauren. She is amazingly talented and can work miracles which she has continued to do for me.My own natural hair has now grown at least six inches and is healthy. It will always be very fine and thin. Now Lauren adds in extensions for fullness and dimension. As every woman knows your hair is your crowning glory, I never knew that feeling until I started working with Lauren. For anyone out there who has been hesitant to try extensions I encourage you to go for a consultation with Lauren. She is truly a gifted artist. I wish I could post before and after photos!

I had an excellent haircut from Natalie. She is new to the place but what a great addition. I recommend Natalie to anyone. Excellent cut. Really nice place also.

Felt compelled to say this because of such a great experience I had. New stylist Natalie was fantastic. Even though she's new to the salon, I could tell that she brings a lot of previous experience with her which makes her such a great asset for Jay Michael's. I would definitely recommend her as a stylist for anyone who's interested in quality work.

Natalie is the Best! Formerly of Toppers has just made an excellent move to Jay Michael Salon. What a compliment to the salon and an extraordinary addition! She always has a fix to my unruly mane. My family and friends are pleased to still have her close to the area! Everyone should experience Natalie!

Nikki C is without a doubt the best hair colorist there is! It was two weeks before my daughters wedding that I went to see her for a color correction and damage control. Several months earlier, I visited a high end hair salon to get my hair ready for the wedding....I ended up with overbleached hair with orange roots and my ends were literally breaking off. With two weeks and two visits she had my hair back to life again! The color is beautiful! It looked great for the wedding and it is now healthy again!! I will never go to anyone else. Nikki is awesome. She calmed me down and made me the happiest mother of the bride. Thanks a million!!

Love the Jay Michael experience. Crista gives great cuts and blow outs to my curley hair. I recommended my boyfriend to this salon and he loves it too!
