We miss the Drafting Room, but Phils Tavern is standing in!. Great BBQ and Beer. It just another great Ambler business.

A family restaurant for sports lovers searching for a second home.. In Short
Regulars pack this sports bar and family restaurant, filling up the converted house's rooms to crowd around the multiple television sets while slurping down beer and chowing on wings. The front room is dominated by a curving bar, and an arcade of video games satisfies both kids and disgruntled sports fans. A robust, award-winning chili is worth upgrading to the bowl-size portion. Ten-ounce burgers and cheese steaks are honorable versions of bar classics.

Good food plus great service. We come here 10pm every tues after volleyball. We are always able to order food (sometimes this is a problem other places on a late tues nite) & the service is always excellent. The food is very good & the portions are big -we ALWAYS have leftovers.

Phils Ribs. Phils down home food sometines gets overlooked. Their ribs are as good as they get. Meaty, fall off the bone and a spicy, tabgy sauce. The full rack is more than most people can handle.

Great food. I've been eating at Phil's for seven years. The portions are LARGE, always fresh and have the best taste around. Particularly thier cheesesteaks. I was surprised to see, in my opinion, such a low rating. If you are in the area they are definetly worth trying.

Phil's Is Unbelievable!!!!. Phil's Tavern's food is excellent. The perfect place to go and celebrate any type of occasion!! The burgers are award winning and the ribs are out of this world! This is a must try and I promise you wont leave dissapointed!
