DELICIOUS FOOD, GREAT SERVICE!!. I'd have to completely disagree with that review. The Bagel House on Second Street PIke has some of the best bagel sandwiches around. The owner there is always welcoming to the customers as well as he tries to get to know each individual customer. He is VERY polite. The restaurant is usually busy, but it does slow down around lunch time. The prices are MUCH lower than any Manhattan bagel, or other bagel places around. The owner of the Bagel House on Bustleton Avenue is rude to every customer as well as his employees. His food is terrible as his service is worse. The employees at the Bagel House on Second Street Pike are extremely polite and always put customers first. Anyone with a brain would not listen to this other review as it is TERRIBLY wrong. This restaurant has GREAT food and WONDERFUL service. I have been going to this place for about 4 years and ever since the new owner took over it has been 10X better. Good luck with the terrible food over on Bustleton Ave.

Good food, terrible service.... Rose's review is spot on with a few additional issues. Not only are they VERY slow regardless if they are busy (which they usually are not) but the business changed hands not too long ago and the new owner is not very polite. I recently stopped in there for breakfast and was the only person in line. Instead of waiting on me within a few minutes, he told me to hold on and I'll be right with you but proceeded to do nothing but mingle with his employee before waiting on me. Ok, not a big deal. BUT low and behold, he then fails to properly make the sandwich! How hard is it to remember bacon, egg and cheese on a TOASTED bagel with ketchup??? Did I get it toasted and with ketchup? NOPE! Oh and by the way, this was the 2nd time it happened within 1 week. Furthermore, his prices are too high. The person he purchased the business from has opened another shop just a few miles away. He is much more polite, faster service AND lower prices. Even though this place is less than a mile from me, I will travel to the other location and BOYCOTT this location. Good luck with your terrible service, attention and prices!
