The best service EVER and delicious food. Our night at Piper's Tavern was such a relaxing, enjoyable evening. Half of that was our wonderful waitress and the other half was the delicious food. Our waitress was down-to-earth, very helpful, on top of things (like making sure our water glasses were always filled) and had a great sense of humor. She gave us suggestions on the menu when asked, and even told us we can relax and enjoy ourselves for as long as we wanted, which is rare in this turn-over-tables-as-quick-as-possible country we live in. The food was superb, the crab cakes are to die for! Overall such a great evening after a full day.

Go once and you'll definitely come back. Absolutely our favorite restaurant. It is always our pick to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's day, and sometimes just because. The atmosphere in the bar is that of an old tavern and the dining room is romantic with the historic decor and candlelight. The service has never been short of perfect. They come back enough to make sure you have everything you need, but not too often that they are annoying. Your courses are perfectly spaced so that you aren't waiting too long in between, nor are you overwhelmed with everything in front of you. The food is amazing, always cooked and seasoned perfectly. I try to order something different everytime we go and haven't been disappointed yet. For an appetizer I highly recommend the clams casino, we order it everytime. And definitely try the house salad, it has mandarin oranges and dried cranberries, delicious. My boyfriend and I made it "our restaurant" when we were 18yrs old. It was our first "grown-up" restaurant as a couple and we loved it. We've been to many restaurants since but nothing compares. We're 26yrs old now and have reservations for tonight to celebrate our 8th anniversary, I know we'll still be going when we're celebrating our 50th :)

Could not be any better!. I would have to say that this restaurant is the best I have ever been to. I have recommended the Piper Tavern to several friends and have only heard great responses. My favorite is the pecan encrusted grouper, , or should I say, one of my favorites! The prime rib is cooked exactly to your liking, the salads are wonderful and I love the room with the fireplace . If I had a choice of any restaurant to dine at, the Piper Tavern will always be the one. As a matter of fact, I was asked where I would like to go for dinner for my birthday just recently-you guessed it! Although I no longer live right down the street from the restuarant, the 45minute to an hour drive is well worth it. Yum!

Wonderful!. First time eating here after passing and living. We brought an out-of-own guest from Cailfornia who is used to good restaurants. In a word, this restaurant was "wonderful". Great service, good wine list, fantastic atmosphere and the food was delicious.

The menu sports a wide variety of meats and fish and we shared dishes across the board. Our entrees included the grouper, filet and lamb, all cooked, sauced and flavored to perfection. The atmosphere is very romantic and accomodating to a large group. We went just before Xmas and the decore was very festive.

The bar that you walk through to get to the restaurant is also a warm, historic and an inviting atmosphere, perfect for before diner drinks or to meet with friends at happy hours.

Hidden Treasure in Pipersville. This is a fine resturaunt with a large variety on the menu. Experience the historic charm at no extra charge. The entrance is through the bar which also offers the option of a ligher menu. Be sure to check out the pipertavern website for pictures and menu details.
