overpriced, poor service
by carribeandreamin at Citysearch
The only pro is that it is pretty to sit on the glassed porch. Unfortunately, it can get cold out there. The service is poor, and the food mediocre. The prices are so inflated for what one gets. I would recommend the Washington Crossing Inn for dining over this restaurant any time. You will get a better meal, spend less and be much happier. I wouild also recommend going around the corner to Duck Sauce in Newtown and ordering off their Urasian menu. Duck sauce is BYOB, but if it is a cocktail that you need, you can stop at the Grotto on your way.
- Pros: none
- Cons: to many to mention
One of the best in the area
by cheekycj at Citysearch
A must try for anyone and a regular for most. I love their Kobe Burger appetizer (though it probably should be shared) and the crab dip. The Ahi Tuna and Salmon are superb. Sunday brunch is one of the best in the area too! The only thing I would upgrade is probably the desserts. I was told they are looking to change them by my server.
Highly recommend this for food, ambience and service.
- Pros: Great food and Ambience
