Service with an attitude!.
Royal Grotto? WTF! Seriously?
This place has all the hallmarks of a great dive-bar - good beer, good food, pool table, smoking allowed, and location. If only the overweight, over confident, and indifferent bartender were not there would it be a great place to frequent.
Seriously, this guy spends most of his time on his laptop at the end of the bar and seems inconvenienced when you need something. I was thinking it would be quicker to send him a facebook message to get a beer, but then he finally picked his disgruntled face up from his screen and did some work. While I was there some other patrons were mumbling about the attitude and lack of service from this guy.
Also, I think the pricing here is arbitrary as I was charged $21 for 4 domestic drafts.
The other staff seem friendly enough, However, as far as bartenders go, the other ones don't seem very happy to be there either.
I'd go here more if the staff lost the attitude and at least "acted" like they cared.

You've got to be kidding me!.
When I was a youngin' growing up in D-town, Finney's was THE dive bar. Cheap beer and loud music. Now it's become a "happening spot". I still can't believe it. The beer still flows freely, so I guess some things never change. Wow. Finney's. Who would've thunk it?
