Extremely poor customer service!. I used to be a fan of Coffee and Cream's ice cream and so when I heard that they were serving their pumpkin ice cream, I planned to stop by. Because I had several plans today, I called ahead to see what time they closed. The person who worked there told me that today they were going to close at 8pm. I arrived at 6:50pm to find that the door was locked, despite the lights being on and there being servers standing around and talking. I knocked on the door, and they did not even come to the door, just shouted that they were closing early. I pointed out to them that it is painted on the glass door that they close at 8pm. And they just told me again that they were closing early. It was raining and I had walked from far away to get there. I left empty handed, however even if I had ended up with an ice cream, it wouldn't have been worth the treatment that I received. This is not their first offense and from now on I will be getting my ice cream from Del Val.

What an amazing disappointment!. I live around the corner from this place. I've only been in there twice, but have never had a good experience. The people working there are horrible. I just decided to give it another try tonight. All I wanted was a hot latte. The man working there said he didn't know how to make it. Really? You don't know how to make coffee? It's amazing that he got a job working in a coffee shop. (I can't imagine what kind of questions they ask prospective employees in their interviews...) Needless to say, I will not be returning to this place. Go to Buck County Coffee Co or Starbucks instead. I mean, at least you won't have to worry about having your "barista" tell you that they don't know how to make a simple drink.

Adorable Small Coffeeshop -- Smells good just to walk by on the way to the County Theater!!. Located almost next door to the County Theater, this quaint little coffee shop gives you what you want. Sit inside out or outside on a bench and watch the passersby. Coffee is amazing, plenty of flavors, fresh roasted coffee beans.... delicious ice cream. ... Adorable.

Great small shop. I just do not understand the previous review. It must have been posted by a competing store. Coffee & Cream is friendly, small shop. They roast the bean on site. I go there every day for my coffee and prefer the taste over the two other shops located close by.

The staff has always been friendly to me - perhaps the poster was an obnoxious customer? Who knows..........

I highly recommend the shop for a cup of coffee or an ice cream.

Doylestown's Disappointment. Doylestown has various pleasant little shops. One place to be avoided, however, is the Coffee & Cream. My girlfriend and I were tempted by the display ads in their window to give the place a try. Unfortunately, the staff were at best irresponsible; service was poor and the drinks ill-made. The manager plainly thinks that she's like a cool older sister to her employees, who plainly think that she's an easy mark.

Not Just Any Idiot Can Run A Decent Coffee Shop. During a recent visit, nary a cup of brewed coffee was in site and it appeared most of their trade is in specialty iced drinks two of which my companion and I ordered. These consisted of little more than gritty powders blended with ice, nothing like the pictures presented. The servers are too concerned with their next cigarette break to be bothered to even get the aforementioned powder completely stirred in while you wait for your drink, and wait you will because it takes several minutes for them to get around to your order even though the preparation is minimal. While I was there the manager was conducting interviews with potential employees near where I was seated and it was tempting to tell her to hire them or the homeless schizophrenic ranting nearby, because neither could possibly be less suitable than the current employees.

Love that fresh-roasted flavor. Dessert at Coffee & Cream is a great summer's treat. They have a nice selection of freshly roasted coffees. Plus they serve Goodnoe's ice cream. It's a Doylestown tradition!
