Seattle-based coffee chain lures caffeine addicts with upscale roasts, caramel frappuccinos, shaken iced teas and an extra shot of trendiness..
For many, getting their daily jolt of java has become a daily morning ritual, and the cardboard cup with its infamous green label is the close companion of every coffee aficionado. Busy baristas work seamlessly behind the bar, juggling orders for their strongly-brewed drips and signature hot and cool beverages. While providing a wide selection of coffee specialties, pastries and various coffee related goods, patrons are invited to settle down in comfy armchairs and enjoy their favorite brews amid the chatter of the laidback yet caffeinated crowd.
As far as Starbucks coffeehouses go, it could be the best, but if fails for several reasons.
It is a very large Starbucks with nice setup, however, the enjoyment of a relaxing visit is ruined by noise, loud people, cold temperatures, undesirable clientele who hang inside and out. I have gone there at different times of day and year and found the following to be consistent.
The place is LOUD and NOISY. Caters to the young, wild life that hang out there, instead of taming them into following courteous clientele with some rules of behavior. Strange characters hang outside.
Wireless is expensive to buy.
VERY COLD inside.
For the price that you pay for a Starbucks coffee, I expect a better atmosphere. Go to Bucks County Coffeehouse around the corner on 22 N. Main St. Far better choice all around.
Go to El Cactus Instead!. Strawberry and creme frozen drink gave me a stomach ache for hours. Plus, to make it worse, I found out later that I consumed most of my daily calorie intake with that dumb drink. Go to El Cactus instead! That place is excellent.
for a $5 coffee, I can't get free wifi?.
Multi-million dollar Co. making 300% profit on a cup and can't provide the wi-fi? that sucks; go elsewhere!
Boxes everywhere to greet you as you walk in and ONE outlet for the PC!!
