avoid at all costs. If you are looking for a good experience of finding the wedding gown of your dreams....then DO NOT go to Stephanie's Bridal in Pennsburg. The staff is horrible. I had found a gown that I wanted from Stephanie's so I made an appointment to go try it on and order it. When I got there I had put the dress on and was looking at a shoe book while the seamstress was working on a girl's bridesmaid dress. While this was going on the rest of the bridal party came in. Immedially they all started getting on their dresses and working on them. I had stated that I was next and had an appointment they did not seem to care cause they told me to just wait 5 more minutes and they would be with me. So I did after about 10 minutes one of the girls that worked there asked me if I could get out of the dress so they could use the fitting room for someone else. I said yes but I have not been helped yet. She totally ignored me. After getting out of my dress I went up to the front dresk and said I am leaving becasue it does not seem like you have time for me and then I stormed out of there. So if you want to have a good experience avoid this place at all costs, because you will be treated as tho your special day does not matter!!!!

Poor Best Practices regarding service. I took my 8 year old daughter to Stephanie's Bridal for her first communion dress and was looking forward to a wonderful experience while searching for a special dress. We ended up being extremely disappointed with the service. What saddened me the most was I purchased my wedding dress at Stephanie's over 25 years ago and was looking to continue the tradition of dresses with my daughter, such as sweet sixteen, jr. prom, prom etc. The bridal representive was not helpful nor wanted to be helpful or supportive. The representive was involved with another party more so than my daughter who had a scheduled appointment. While my daughter was in a dress and looking in the mirror she was inappropriately asked to step down from the mirror for the "other" party----mind you there were two mirrors and my daughter was looking in the smaller mirror. I was appalled when the bridal representive spoke to her in that manner. At that point, I immediately informed the representive that my daughter should be treated no differently than the other party, if anything, my daughter would be a future customer, not a one time bridal party event. Bottom line, this "now" ex-customer was very sadded with the outcome and extremely disappointed. We purchased a $300.00 first communion dress and veil in near by Reading PA and received excellent care.

Stephanie's Bridal and Formal. Positive: Stephanies Bridal Shop was very helpful and all of the girls that worked there were very patient with me. I wasn't the easiest person to deal with either. My wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses all came in on time and were beautiful! They included the alterations for free and they were all done professionally. I would definitely recommend this store!

Negative: The only thing I did not like was that I wanted to buy my veil and tiara from the store. They only sell them off the floor which means tons of other people were trying them on! If I am going to spend $100 for a piece of cloth to wear on my head for an hour, I want it to be brand new. I know this is something very minor...but it bothered me.
