Crepe expectations are fulfilled at this Gallic cafe, whose name translates to "The Dawn," along an industrial stretch of Washington Avenue West. Tucked into the lobby of NextFab Studios, a creative design "incubator" that rents out space and tools to artists and craftspeople, L'Aube does crepes both sweet and savory, with brilliant coffee and espresso to complement. It's typically a one-man operation, so you might wait a little bit for your order, but your patience will be rewarded with killer buckwheat fold-ups off the griddle.
