Rob Wasserman (Rouge) and Michael Schulson (Izakaya, Sampan) joined forces to open this treat for Main Liners: The Saint James, a New American bistro in swanky Suburban Square. Though Schulson made his bones with Asian cooking, this project refocuses his energy on the foods of the East Coast. Chef Matt Moon is putting out a familiar-but-clever menu: full raw bar, kitschy apps ("franks in the blanket," Nana Mary's chicken liver), pasta (spaghetti and meatballs, ricotta ravioli) and unexpected entrees like a pork porterhouse.
