What Our Expert Scouts Are Saying
Yes, it's lodged in a primo location in Center City's toniest neighborhood — the one-of-a-kind space in the gorgeous Art Alliance, to be exact — but don't mistaken Rittenhouse Tavern for a dull corner tappie based on its humdrum name. In a classic undersell/over-deliver setup from Michelin-starred Restaurant Associates chef Ed Brown and exec chef Nicholas Elmi, RT producing food both fascinating and contemporary. Elmi takes plenty of risks in his seasonally conscious kitchen, which cooks lunch, brunch and dinner.

A tavern in the Gramercy Tavern sense
of the word: elegance and sophistication are worn lightly here, and the food is both creative and deeply comforting.

The patio is one of the most beautiful
area to enjoy happy hour. The cold pressed foie gras and portobello fries are not to be missed.

You're missing out if you don't have
lunch, dinner or brunch on the outdoor patio. Perhaps the prettiest al fresco space in Rittenhouse.
