Ok Spa Services, not hair. Went once and got a terrible heaircut. Gave them a second chance and got a terrible perm. Plus paid a fortune to boot. I did have a massage there which was very good. The atmosphere is really nice. So my advice is that it is ok for the spa services but not hair services.

Talented hairdressers with personal service. I have been going to Avalanche salon & spa since it opened. My two daughters also get their hair done there.

Avalanche has the most talented hairdressers in the area. I have had my hair long (Japanese straightener) and now short and curly. Despite there extreme changes, Sal (who I go to) always makes me look great. My daughters also love their hairdressers at Avlanche. My older one goes to Sal, and he has always done an amazing job with her hair. My younger daughter uses Melissa who is extremely sweet and keeps my daughter's hair looking great. If you want a hair salon where every greets you by name, this is the place to go!

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE. I recently went to Avalanche to get my hair done. From the moment I walked through the door I was treated like just another number. I had to wait over 45 minutes to see my stylist. Then once I was in his chair he began having screaming fight with another employee using many curse words. Very unprofessional to do this in front of clients, especially a new client. When I left I found out the two employees fighting were actually the owners! What kind of example is that for your employees? Oh and the cut and color I go was average, not worth the $150+ bill I received. I will never go back!

great atmosphere. I've been getting my hair done at avalance with melissa since the salon opened. The staff has only treated me with respect and has made me feel welcome in the salon....not to mention great services!! I would recommend avalanche to any of my friends!!

Salon is a Nightmate. I was at this salon and the owners where fighting in the middle of the salon about how Sal cheated on his wife. She then hit him with a brush in front of all us customers.

Terrible Treatment of a Bridal Party. I was at Avalance for the first time this past Saturday for hair and makeup prior to my best friend's wedding. We were giving them A LOT of business-- I'm talking 7 up-do's and 5 make-up applications. We were able to bring breakfast food to snack on between appointments. The only issue was that a second bridal party (who arrived in a limo and had Panera Bread delivered) was also doublebooked that morning. The owner (that's right, the owner) accused us of eating the other bridal party's food, which isn't something a bunch of adult women would do anyway AND the kicker was that she sought out our bride to accuse her. I told her we weren't white trash and she then had her finger in my face telling me (her customer) off. About ten minutes later, she was offering us $10 coupons, which, of course, we couldn't use on the same day of service. Needless to say, I said I didn't need mine, because the chances of returning to an establishment who treats their customers that way is essentially zero. Oh, and we left before the makeup was done, because we'd already been there THREE hours and we were still waiting for makeup. What a terrible way for the bride to start out her day. I would recommend any bride interested in a smooth start to her day to go elsewhere!!

WOW!! The best!! Who knew that the burbs have such a great spa!. Really who knew! I just moved it Collegeville from Philly, and was looking for a salon that could compare to some of my favorite salons in Philly. So I tried Avalanche because I saw someone with an awesome cut and asked were they got there hair done. What a cool and fun place! The salon is dressed up like a ski chalet lots of warm colors and big comfy sofa and spa chairs! Sal gave me the best cut and color I have had in years and my pedicure by Julie was also one of the best. My eyebrows also by Julie have never looked better!! I am so pleased with this spa It is as good if not better than many places in Philly! Really who knew!!!!! I'M SO HAPPY!
