Great Stay. The hotel is right across from City Hall and in a very convenient location. Had no problems while I stayed there. The room was very comfortable and a great experience overall. I did not use valet because there is a garage nearby but either choice is going to be expensive.

Very clean, close to restaurants. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott this past weekend. We loved it! We stayed away from the valet parking, it seemed awefully chaotic. The staff was very friendly. Our room was spotless! We had the breakfast buffet. It was delicious and priced right. The hotel is very close to the Reading Terminal Market and other restaurants. We did park in the 24hour garage across the street and paid $27.00 for about 9 hrs!

Moderately priced hotel offers a breakfast buffet, in-room work spaces and other amenities for business travelers.. In Short
The first Marriott hotel opened in 1957, and has since expanded to several different brands, with Courtyard serving business travelers. In addition to free daily newspaper delivery, media-equipped meeting rooms and buffet breakfasts in their on-site restaurant, most locations also offer The Market--a 24-hour shop for food and refreshments. Rooms include well-lit work spaces, ergonomic desk chairs, separate sitting areas and free high-speed Internet (participating locations). The front desk offers faxing, copying and printing services.

Unusual Courtyard. This restored building across the street from City Hall is a very unusual Courtyard. The lobby and public areas are far more extensive and upscale than usual. What isn't is staff, which were in very short supply. Front desk, business center, and valet parking were all understaffed. Even the bar area had only one server on duty at prime time. My room was very nice, but I did pay more for an oversized corner room and it had 4 sets of windows and a great view of City Hall. Beds were soft but comfy and the room spotless. Better soundproofing than the Four Seasons for shutting out street noise. Staf did amazing disappearing acts and the tiny entrance fills with cars VERY fast. Valet service is as slow as everyone says.

DUDE, where's my CAR!. Like a reviewer before me, my party of 4 waited for our ONE car for 45 minutes! There were no other customers waiting to collect or drop-off cars to boot! Thankfully, we were just late getting on the road, not like the poor reviewer that was late to a wedding. The valet had nothing more to say than a quick sorry then lingered for a tip, but walked away empty-handed. Pathetic! For the price of the room and the location of the hotel, this Marriott is worth it, but just drop your bags at the door, and find a 24-hour parking lot.

Great Location. You can walk to the PAFA, Reading Terminal, and dinner at several restaurants. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are pleasant and the price is right!
