Editorial Review for Kaminski's – by Virginia L. Moles

In Short
Kaminski's has been a beef-and-beer fixture in Cherry Hill for so long that a lot of people forget that it exists. That doesn't mean it isn't a worthy option when you're looking for a pitcher and a quick bite. Sports fans convene at one end to holler at the big-screen Vs; families with fidgety kids hang out in the area closest to the video games; quieter couples seek out the dimly lit el near the fireplace.

Stopped back in Cherry Hill around the end of June and visited one of our favorite spots from years ago. Shorts and jeans casual atmosphire. Roast beef with Horse Radish and auJus sauce was about 8.50 and it's enough to split between two people. Selection of burgers from about 7.50 to about 8.95. Happy Hour from 4pm to 7pm with dollar off drinks. A pint of Bass ale was 2.75 during happy hour. Definately worth the visit if you're in the area.

Pros: happy hour, outdoor patio, good food at reasonable price

Cons: off the main roads

Terrible Service! Would not recook a veal parmigiana dinner. Came to me super rare. Asked waitress to take it back and and cook medium rare at least, she came back in a minute or two and said 'they can't recook it'. I wrongly assumed the veal would be medium well or medium rare; just because that's standard everywhere else was my mistake. 20% gratuity included on large groups as well. I didn't want to leave a tip but it sped our exit up.

Pros: Parking

Cons: Service

Before Houlihan's, Bennigan's and all the other faux-pub franchises there was this place, the real thing.  See the full editorial review.
