American excellence is not dead!!. My fridge was acting hinky where the freezer worked but the main refrigerator compartment wouldn't. Everything went bad. I immediately started looking at new refrigerators at all of the major department stores. Ughh! having a 22cbf fridge, I knew going into it that the new stainless that I wanted would run me $2200 at least. Decided to take a chance on seeing what it'd cost me to have the one I have repaired. Having no confidence at all in expecting to pay less than $500 for a repair job which wouldve include a gaggle of parts and major labor, I called A.S.A.P Appliances 1719 Hartel Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19111 and asked them to take a look at it. Two technicians arrived, and from the very beginning were polite and professional. Within 5 minutes they told me that the problem was that of a clogged line in my freezer that had excess water buildup and froze over. According to A.S.A.P. a rare occurence. They only charged me $130 to fix and didn't try to sell me unneccesary parts and warranties. They briefly explained what other appliances they fix, gave me their business card, shook my hand, wished me a good weekend and then they were on their way. These guys were so good that I almost wished that I had another broken appliance for them to fix. But since I didn't I hope this review helps these young entrepeneurs get more business. Excellent service!!
Best service, hands down!.
My freezer was losing its cooling and my fridge was warm to the touch. I have newborn babies and needed someone out as soon as possible as I keep my formula in the fridge. I called up the tech and he was out the same day as I told him of my emergency.
He looked at my fridge and in less than 10 minutes he knew that I needed a new motherboard for it. He told me it was expensive so I paid the diagnosis and told him I will let him know.
I called around a few places in the area asking what a typical motherboard installment would cost and they estimated around $330.00. The tech from ASAP quoted me at 275.00! I called him right back up and he came out the next morning and took off the diagnosis charge. I was so happy to know that I wasn't being overcharged and he was very friendly to me. I highly recommend this company as they did not steer me wrong.
Still NO RESPONSE-JOB NEVER DONE.
STILL HAVE RECEIVED NO SERVICE OR RESPONSE AFTER MONEY WAS TAKEN. AT THIS POINT I JUST WANT A REFUND FOR THE MONEY THEY WERE GIVEN IN GOOD FAITH. I'LL CONTACT A MORE REPUTABLE COMPANY FOR THE MICROWAVE REPAIR.
*******ORIGINAL POST****IT'S BEEN 4 MONTHS SINCE THEY CAME TO LOOK AT 2 MICROWAVES. THEY TOOK A $75.00 DEPOSIT. THEY HAVE REPEATEDLY FAILED TO RETURN PHONE CALLS. I FINALLY GAVE UP AND JUST REQUESTED A REFUND,AGAIN, NO RESPONSE.

Wonderful friendly service.
My washing machine started leaking and I called ASAP and their name means who they are. I called in the morning and they were here in the afternoon.
Unfortunatly my machine can't be fixed but what I appreciated the most was their honestly.
Instead of trying to fix it and charge me tons of money they were honest and said it would be too costly for me to fix.
How many business do that?
If you need a repair call them ASAP!
I Could Not Have Asked for Better Service. A.S.A.P Appliance Repair was great! I called them on a Wednesday evening and they were at my house within 2 hours to fix my dryer. The owner came out himself and was wonderful! He went above and beyond what I could have expected. Very knowledgable and explained what he was doing every step of the way. He was patient with all of my questions. I would highly recommend them to all.
Very Very Happy with Service and Price!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I am very pleased with this company. They called me back right away and had the parts on them, and came right out to fix it, so I didn't have to wait to get it fixed right away. I called around and they had the best price and were in and out. They were on time and very polite. I will definitely call them again in the future!!!
Best Service Ever!!!! I will always use this company!!!!. This company is the best company I have ever used!!! This company is honest, quick, efficent, fair prices and best customer service!! They are extremely professional and have very fair prices. I have used this company twice so far and I will ALWAYS call them going forward. I have told all my friends and family about them! I have used other companys in the past, but these guys go above and beyond. I couldn't be happier and I have peace of mind knowing that I can always call them and they will come right away and won't rip me off. I never write reviews, but this was absolutely worth it because it would be a shame if others missed out on using this company.
DISAPPOINTED. The service was ASAP, however the repair man was either careless or just lazy. After the dryer was repaired I went down the basement to try it out, only to see that the dryer vent was not venting correctly (dust/lint blowing out the bottom of the dryer). When I looked at the back of the dryer there was a big hole in the duct work. This was because the original dryer elbow (sturdy metal like attachment) was thrown in my trash can and the repair man attached the foil-like duct work directly to the back of the dryer (gas dryer output). Then when he went and pushed the dryer back in its spot, the foil-like duct work tore (because it was dragging on ground---the elbow would keep duct work off the ground) and left the foil-like duct work with a nice size hole right at the dryer output. I took the dryer elbow out of the trash and took the time to install it correctly. The elbow allows a sturdy and safe connection to the foil-like duct work. Had I not of noticed this, the lint could have piled up in and around the hole, and a fire could have started. Quick service is nice, but when the job is not done correctly and leads to a serious hazard, sadly, the cost could have been more than just money alone!
AWESOME Service. I found these guys through this very site. My dryer broke and having a toddler, well, I need a dryer. Plus, I hate how my towels air dry all hard and miserable. Anyhow, I was searching around online and ASAP Appliance Repairs came up very fast. I then read the reviews. All good! I called the guy on the phone and he came to the house a couple of hours later. Not only did he fix the dryer, but I had mentioned that earlier someone was here who could not fix it but did fix a hanging gas line. The guy from ASAP was horrified and told me how dangerous that situation could have been and even put an extra bracket on the pipe. I am going to recommend these guys to anyone in need of repairs. They did the job quickly, too! Nice guys as well. Oh, and the price was more than fair.
