I have never written a feedback like
this before, but not only did I receive the wrong product and requested a pre-paid return label - the gentleman that I spoke to several times was rude and ambivalent. He had a strong accent and called himself the "supervisor" of customer service (although he answered the phone rather nastily when I pushed the prompt for "returns", as well as when I pushed the prompt for "Customer Service Supervisor".). I just want to return the product and receive my $75 credit and not pay for the return shipment since it was their error. I would never recommend this site to anyone and I hope that someone from the company who cares at all reads this and fires the Supervisor.

I placed an order with House of Beauty World via their online website on June 3, 2011 for $194.35. I did not receive a confirmation email for this order as I normally do so I contacted them that same day and was then told that the item I ordered was on back-order. I then requested that they cancel the order so that I can place an order with another company for that same item. They informed me on June 3, 2011 that the order was canceled and that my funds would be refunded the following day. When my funds were not refunded on the day that they stated it would be, I contacted them again on Monday, June 6, 2011. I was told that for some reason my order was not canceled and that they would cancel the order on June 6, 2011,
Today, per my online bank statement, House of Beauty World withdrew the funds from my credit card although they were supposed to cancel and refund the amount debited from my credit card account. I called House of Beauty today and spoke to a male with an accent (not trying to be disrespectful, I just did not get his name) who answered at 215-887-7084 and he was not helpful at all. All that he would say was that it was up to my bank but when I called my bank they said the funds were already debited by House of Beauty and it does not show that this amount was credited back to my credit card by House of Beauty.
The bank had a conference call with House of Beauty today and spoke to Tiffany and Tiffany verified with the bank that the funds were credited but she would not give the bank a confirmation number for this cancellation/refund. This is the second time this has happened to me with this company and the first time I let it go and withdrew my complaint against them with the BBB. I was trying to be fair but it appears that this company is very shady and I read some unethical things via the Internet that this company has done to several other consumers. This has to stop and consumers please be very careful when ordering via online with this company. I will NEVER order from them again and today I filed a complaint against them with the BBB and The FTC.
