This is a company you can trust.... I was very happy with the work that Mr. Contractor did on my home. I recently inherited a home that needed a lot of work done. I remodeled the kitchen, 2 bathrooms, all the floors and trim. I even had a lot of electrical upgrades done (lights, switches, etc). Probably the biggest project was finishing the basement. From the start, the sales man was very polite and professional. I was given an "accurate" estimate (meaning it didn't change with bait & switch tactics). The crew that came to do the work was very clean, trustworthy and passionate about their work. I never had a problem with communication. My home came out amazing. I get nothing but compliments from friends and family. I have since recommended Mr. Contractor to everyone I know needing remodeling work. This is a great company and I had a great experience. I plan to hire them again during my next remodel project.
Simply the best contractor in Philly for home remodel!. It wasn't easy to pick a contractor to remodel our kitchen. There are plenty to chose from in the phonebook and online. However, Mr. Contractor stuck out because of the volume of searched online and the positive reviews. I called for a free estimate and was impressed that someone came out that same day to look at my job. I was given an estimate on the spot with a promise that work would start in 2 weeks if I signed the contract. The price wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive. But the crew was clean, professional, on time and didn't play games with adding extra costs. The end result was rather impressive. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get work done on their home. Thank you Mr. Contractor.
Creat customer service.
I have read the reviews and researched Mr. Contractor. Thank goodness I did. I found that they have a very good standing with alot of business research sites. I needed a lot of work done and have been burnt by contractors before. I am so thankful that I hired them. They were courteous and punctual. They did an excelent job for me, I had roofing, plumbing, kitchen work and a new bathroom. The price they quoted was exactly what I paid. Their workers were resptectful, helpful and very efficient. They are highly recomended by me and I refered them to a few close friends and they too are extremely pleased with the service they recieved. I have also come to realize that ANYONE can wright a review weather or not they are true, so I was compeled to right this. You can email me and I'll respond, they are a great company to hire. No wonder they have been in business for 50 years!
Ps. At least I have seen their work cause they did my work for me. I do recomend highly. And if the other 2 reviews are true then why were they named by Philadelphia magazine as the Best Contractor in Philadelphia in 2007? I guess you can't please everyone, no matter how hard you try. Some people want something for nothing I guess.
terrible attitude.
I never got to see their work so I cant comment on that but If attitude and first impressions are any indicator of their future service and i tend to think it does i chose to leave them alone.
First thing I noticed was he seemed to not be that interested in the project. Now that's okay hes probably done this kind of job a million times but when you are in the service industry and you are about to put around 50 thousand of repair work in a contractors hands you wanna see some enthusiasm.
I asked him for any brochures he had on cabinet types and he said after I agree to sign his contract he would prove it
Is that the way it works? anyway he gave an estimate and the price sounded great. He wanted me to sign off on the spot for him to start working. I told him I needed to talk with my wife about this decision (50 thousand dollars)
and he immediately became borderline disrespectful. " well look I gotta go! You go talk to your wife and call us when your ready". If this is the guy they send out to represent their company I dont want to meet anybody else from Mr contractor. P.S. go check em out at the bureau
BAD business/management. I never saw their work. They ignored several phone calls after seeing my project & professionally drawn plans and promising an offer. I'd understand if they did't care to bid on my job, but didn't have the guts to say as much?? Or just figured they couldn't pull enough bank out of me. Smart clients are the worst, eh?
