Already a hit in Manayunk thanks to her long-running Chabaa Thai, chef Moon Krapugthong has stepped out of her Thai curry comfort zone to launch Yanako, a Japanese concept with Okinawan Harou "Harry" Ige, a master of raw fish with an eye for elegance. Start at the sushi bar, downing seasonally dressed oysters and sliced escolar with dusted seaweed, then move onto proper soba or udon noodle entrees that juggle tradition and innovation.
