There's a reason the lines are long at this New York import. Pat Lefrieda patties paired with Martin's potato rolls are the things that burger dreams are made of.

Every bit as good as you've heard...just be warned: The lines here can stretch on if you hit it at the wrong time. Still, the wait is worth it.

If it's 2am and you've had a few too many, it is the perfect food. Spicy, ooey, gooey, crinkly, cheesy. If you're sober, well it's still good, but so greasy you'll feel it in your stomach the rest of the day.

There's only a few outdoor tables, but at night it's a great spot to enjoy a burger and people watching. No beer consumption outside though.

The SS wait can get wacky, but if you're only in the mood for ice cream or floats, fall into the separate "C-Line" for quicker service.
It was a glorious day when Shake Shack opened in Philly. It's more than just another burger place. It's no secret that everything is delicious but you can tell it's because they use high quality ingredients. Affordable, family friendly and dog friendly too!
