Sweetheart vegan chef Rachel Klein is making a serious case for West Passyunk Avenue — East Passyunk gets all the love, don't you think? — with her Deep South Philly adora-nook, which serves as a private event space, home base for her catering and lunch-delivery services and a cafe for take-home food. It's not a traditional sit-down establishment, but every Saturday night, the Pantry's communal farmhouse table can accommodate as many as 12 people for four-course vegan tastings. Please leave your fur coat at home.
