I stopped by this salon a few weeks ago when I came in town to visit a friend. My friend recommended this place and I was thankful for her recommendation. The place did a great job with my hair. The stylist was very patient with me while cutting my hair, and she gave me great ideas on how to style my hair afterwards. Next time I'm in town again, I look forward to paying another visit at this salon.

Stylish and Friendly. My first impression of Nancie is her sense of style. She does a great job of incorporating trendy hair cuts into the customer's request. Weeks later, my haircut still looks good and I am still getting complements.

I appreciate Nancie's friendliness and her willingness to engage in a thoughtful conversation. It is always a pleasure going to get my haircut.

Very creative & knowledgeable. Nancie always has really cool, creative ideas for cuts and color and she also has the know-how to get those creations from in her head to on yours.

She gave me a totally awesome pixie cut one time which is now my favorite way to have my hair and I got tons of compliments on it everywhere I went.

She also gave me the only set of highlights I've ever liked (I'm very picky).

You can really tell this girl is passionate about what she does. A++

A Professional. I tested many hairstylists' work but nobody could keep me satisfied.

Finally, I found Nancy. She is a real artist. She is a master in her job and has the knowledge as well as passion for what she does. She is very ambitious in hairstyling and takes her job seriously. Through the conversations we had I realized that not only she has studied in the college for hairstyling but also still spends time and money to learn more. I never have seen a hairstylist enjoys what she does as much as Nancy does.

She DOES CARE about the customer. One thing that made me happy all the time was that she taught me how to take care of my hair at home and how to style it myself. For example, how to make it straight or how to hold an style.

I strongly recommend her work. Unfortunately she is not in the State College anymore and I have to let other hairstylists work on my hair! :(

Philadelphia's Lucky to have such a Talented Hairstylist!!. It has been really hard finding a good stylist after Nancy. Noone has yet compared to styling and highlightening my sorry hair to its best, like Nance!

Nancy is really good at what she does and takes her time and makes sure I get the best color combinations in my hair--and teaches me how to keep my hair at its healthiest. Plus, She makes me look a lot younger and sexier.

Hope you give Nancy a try...you wont regret it:)

Best haircut & highlights EVER!!!. I've been getting highlights for over 5 years. I'm meticulous about it! I keep my hair fairly short and I like being creative with it. I finally found the stylist to give me the look that I truly wanted. She understood the what I wanted, gave me some great ideas and then gave me the BEST Haircut & Highlights Ever!

PS... so freaking happy!!!

Nancie Yang... did my hair for a fashion show at the Union Trust. She was very friendly and nice. She did an amazing job curling my hair and it looked great, after the fashion show i wore my hair in curls for another two days and it still looked amazing.

Excellent execution - Versatile Result. Nancie took my standard bob hair and made it effortlessly stylish. She gave me a pageboy shag that's layered so I can wash & go and still look like I styled it for 20 minutes. It's long enough to curl for that marilyn monroe glam look if I have an extra 5 minutes too! I went platinum and she recommended a great blue shampoo (l'oreal) to keep the yellow tones out! A versatile look was necessary and It compliments my face perfectly! She was quick and confident, plus- Tommi is so close to work @ washington square. Awesome!

Cool hair cuts that you can wear to work. Nancie has been cutting my hair for 2 years. Before Nancie, I used to get boring short haircuts. I work in a corporate environment, and I don’t want my hair to stand out. But Nancie is able to give me distinctive hair cuts that don’t look like every other spiky short haircut. For example, right now we are recreating a haircut I saw in Turkey. Shorter on the sides, longer in the back, faux mullet. It can be worn conservatively, and also be done edgy over the weekends. Basically, I have full confidence that my hair will be done precisely yet stylish every time Nancie cuts my hair.
