I suppose, theoretically, that it's possible that there could be a better sandwich place than Paesano's. But maybe there couldn't. There are by my count at least eight sandwiches here unmatched for genius anywhere. They are all gutbombs, though, some plan on multiple visits.

The Tuscan Tony (Sopressata wrapped all beef dog w/bolognese, sharp Provolone & Italian long hots is perfect when you can't down a huge sandwich

The "Arista" roast pork and rabe sandwich is one of the best versions of its kind in Philly. They brine the pork in anchovies, that's why it's so good.
