Citysearch Editorial Review. Kimpton’s first LEED-certified hotel is also the first for Philadelphia. To meet or beat these environmental construction standards, nearly everything in the executive-class, 234-room hotel is refurbished, reclaimed, recycled, or any of those other eco-licious “re” words. This includes the appliances, furniture and the structure itself, which, appropriately, spent most of its life as the Architect’s Building. There’s not a trace of restraint, though, as the interior of this sleek Center City lodging brims with a stylized sensibility that would make the editors at Dwell or heck, Architectural Digest, proud.
