Upscale food market in Graduate Hospital.. Teensy upscale food market in Graduate Hospital sells only local and sustainable wares and roasts its own coffee on site. After the umpteenth person asked the owners of Pumpkin Restaurant and Pumpkin Cafe to sell them some artisanal bread or to order them a chicken from their farmer in Lancaster County, they decided to open a food market on the same block. Although there’s barely enough floor space for two people to squeeze into the colorful storefront, there’s plenty of shelf room to sell the fresh and packaged local, organic and free-trade food items (and scoops of Bassett’s ice cream!) they serve in their nearby restaurants. Follow the smell of coffee downstairs to the three-table coffee shop where approximately eight varieties of fair trade beans are roasted.
